Haxby Town Council is working with local ward councillors and other interested parties to secure a permanent location for the post office.
The town council has agreed to a grant of up to £5000 for a temporary location within the Oaken Grove Community Centre. This will be for a trial period of up to six months, at which point we hope that a permanent solution will have been found.
We hope that the date for opening will be announced shortly.
