To members of the Recreational and Open Spaces Committee. You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Recreational and Open Spaces Committee on Monday 21st March 2022 at Oaken Grove Community Centre, at 7pm, for the purpose of transacting the following business.
Members of the public are welcome to join and will be given the opportunity to speak regarding an item on the agenda during the meeting if they wish to do so.
Members of the press and public are entitled by law to attend all meetings of the Council and to record and film the proceedings of those meetings in accordance with the Council’s policy on the effective management of recording at Council meetings. However, under the provisions of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 S1(2), members of the public and the press will be excluded during consideration of business of a confidential nature.

11. Review of a resolution made by the committee January 2021
The Clerk has received written correspondence from 5 councillors wishing to review the following resolution as per Standing Order 7a,
Proposed by Cllr M Guilford, seconded by Cllr N Wyatt, and resolved unanimously that the Haxby Council Officer responsible will only mark the lines of the senior pitches and that the Haxby Junior Football Club will be asked to manage the line marking of the junior pitches in the new season starting August 2022.
12. Annual contracts with sporting organisations
To delegate responsibility to the Clerk and a councillor to meet with sporting organisations who use the Ethel Ward Playing Fields, to discuss annual contracts in relation to levies and present options back to a future committee for a decision.
